• Outlining their electrochemical recognition properties towards metal ions (and especially heavy metals)
• Receptors immobilization on electrode surfaces for obtaining modified electrodes
• Testing the modified electrodes as sensors for metal ions detection
• Validation of the method based on modified electrodes for heavy metal ions detection
• Application of the method based on modified electrodes in monitoring the water pollution
